Its color is brilliant blue red. In terms of solubility, it is slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and hot water; it is reddish purple in concentrated sulfuric acid, and turns into reddish brown precipitate after dilution; it is a brown-red solution when it encounters concentrated nitric acid; it is slightly soluble in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, and turns into brown-purple when hydrochloric acid is added to the alcohol solution.
This pigment is mainly used in industrial paints, and can also be used in water-based inks, art pigments and other fields. It is a red powder, darker in color than Lithol Scarlet, with better penetration resistance, and similar to Lithol Scarlet in other aspects.
