It is a yellow-green powder with a melting point of about 200-201°C, a decomposition temperature greater than 220°C, and is insoluble in water. It is mainly used for whitening plastics such as PVC, PS, PE, PP, ABS, and acetate fiber, paints, coatings, inks, etc.
Adding a certain amount of this substance to white paint can absorb ultraviolet light and emit blue-violet fluorescence, which is then mixed with the yellow light on the surface of the paint film to become white light, making the surface of the paint film tend to be fully reflective, making the white paint look whiter and brighter, and the light-colored paint look more gorgeous and eye-catching, improving the appearance of the product. At the same time, it can also reduce the damage of ultraviolet rays to the pigments in the paint, improve the light resistance of the paint, and extend its service life outdoors and in sunlight.
