C.I. Acid Orange 60, its common physical and chemical properties are as follows: the appearance may be orange needle crystals or powder; 1g can be dissolved in 20ml water, the aqueous solution is reddish yellow, and it is orange when dissolved in ethanol; adding hydrochloric acid to the aqueous solution will produce a brown-yellow precipitate, adding sodium hydroxide will produce a dark brown, adding sulfuric acid will produce red, and diluting will produce an orange-yellow precipitate; the maximum absorption wavelength is 484nm; it has a certain irritation.
C.I. Acid Orange 60 can be used for dyeing wool, nylon and wool blended fabrics, but is generally not used for printing, and has medium level dyeing properties.
