Titan Yellow is usually a yellow powdery substance. It has properties such as light resistance and heat resistance, and is often used in pigments, dyes and other fields.
In some applications, it can be used as a colorant in the production of plastics, rubber, coatings, inks and other products to give these products a specific color.
It is lemon yellow when dissolved in water and ethanol. Concentrated sulfuric acid is lemon yellow and very light yellow after dilution. Adding concentrated hydrochloric acid to the dye solution produces a golden orange precipitate; adding concentrated sodium hydroxide solution produces an orange precipitate.
