Solvent Red 119 CAS# 12237-27-3

Solvent Red 119 is a transparent yellow-red azo 1:2 chromium complex dye soluble in organic solvents. It has good solubility in polar solvents and is almost insoluble in water. It has the characteristics of bright color, high tinting strength, high transparency and good rheology.
It is mainly used in solvent-based ink systems, and can also be used in refill inks, digital inkjet, flexographic/gravure inks, etc. In coatings, Solvent Red 119 can be used as furniture colorants, transparent varnishes and decorative paints. Combining it with aluminum pigments or other effect pigments can produce a variety of diversified applications, such as designing multi-color bicycle paints, motorcycle paints and other effect paints. In addition, it has good light and weather resistance when combined with certain pigments (such as Orizol Yellow 157, Orange 245 or Red 471) and varnished with a topcoat containing UV absorbers.
