Pigment Red 170 CAS# 2786-76-7

Pigment Red 170 is a new type of pigment with a bluish red color. It has two crystal products, of which the transparent type is bluish red with a light fastness of 6; the non-transparent type has a light fastness of 7, high hiding power, and is more stable to solvents.
Its application areas are relatively wide, mainly including:
Coatings: It can be used for industrial paints such as solvent-based systems, water-based systems, epoxy systems, and advanced coatings, such as agricultural tools, automotive coatings, and coatings for some equipment manufacturing. It does not fade when used outdoors, but the color may darken. Opaque pigments can be mixed with iron oxide to improve hiding power, fastness and reduce costs.
Ink: Its blue transparent type has high tinting strength and is widely used in inks. It is suitable for polyvinyl chloride printing inks and packaging printing inks. The light fastness of gravure inks containing 8% pigment can be as high as 7.
Plastics: It can be used for plastic coloring, such as original pulp coloring for polypropylene, etc.
Others: It can also be used for coloring paint printing, rubber, leather, art pigments, wood, viscose, acetate fiber, etc.
