It is mainly used for coloring plastics such as polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, and polycarbonate. It is particularly suitable for light transparent tones and can provide a bright red appearance for plastic products.
It can be used as a fluorescent probe to detect bisulfite anions. It shows high selectivity and sensitivity to other anions at room temperature. After adding bisulfite anions, its strong fluorescence is strongly quenched, and the color changes significantly from orange to colorless. The color of the solution also changes from pink to colorless, and the detection limit is as low as 1.76μm. It can be used to detect bisulfite anions in aqueous solutions and the determination of bisulfite in sugar samples.
It can be used in inks, coatings and other fields to provide a bright and lasting red color for printed products, coatings, etc.
